Joanna Clarisse Macaranas

Hi there, I’m Joanna - your friendly neighbourhood Oral Health Therapist!

I graduated from Otago University with a Bachelor of Science (2018) and

Bachelor of Oral Health (2022). I am very excited and passionate to give

back to our community, through Capital Dental, with everything that I

learned both in and out of university/work.

I know how it feels like to be both a patient and the clinician so because of

that, I do prioritise helping patients feel at ease while providing dental care.

I aim for every visit to be as comfortable and positive as possible but also to

be very educational and helpful to ensure that my lovely patients can stay

healthy and smile as bright as they can.

I love having a good balance of being in solitude and being surrounded

by family and friends. So outside of work, you’ll find me playing badminton,

cooking, karaoke-ing, watching movies, going on random drives, and at

church!
